Old-House Renovations Over the past fifteen years, renovated five Victorian houses on a residential street in upstate New York. Maintain a thriving rental business with ten unique, beautifully restored units. Teaching Distance Learning Instructor: Johns Hopkins University, Center For Talented Youth Expository Writing Program, 9/89-5/92. Lessons in creative writing and expository writing for high school students, via mail correspondence. College English: From 9/84 to 12/89, taught a variety of college level English courses for Russell Sage/Junior College of Albany, Schenectady County Community College, Hudson Valley Community College, and the State University of New York at Albany. Reading Specialist: Served as reading specialist for Amsterdam (NY) High School (9/77-6/86) and Vanderheyden Hall detention center (12/75-6/77).
